Blogs for Artists or Illustrators Sites
A blog is essentially a way to post news. Your news articles are organized for you by date, with your most recent articles appearing at the top.
Blogs are a fine way to let peope know what you're doing. You can show a project that's in progress, post articles about things and people you admire, or don't so much. Post about life in general.
After you publish a blog on your site, push that blog over to Facebook, with one easy button click to share the news with your friends.
How blogs are built
Blogs are created in content stacks. Each block of your article can contain just a picture, or a body of text and a picture, along with embedded media such as a Vimeo embed tag. Each block of content can also contain a document for download, or a media file such as a MP3 music file that creates a music player for your visitors.
To create really content-rich articles, you'll be stacking content blocks one on top of the other, to create different sections of the article. Our system makes this pretty darn painless.
Also, images do not need to be re-sized before you upload them. The server will re-size the images for you on the fly.

Image Albums for Artists or Illustrators
Image albums can be thought of as different portfolios, or just collections of different images. Create as many of these albums to organize your images as you like. Upload as many images to those excellent albums as you want to.
No need to re-size images prior to uploading. The server sizes them for you.
You can then customize the look of an image album by uploading your own "forward and "back" buttons. You can align your icons along the top, or to the left or to the right. You can also force images to maintain a fixed height so that images do not scroll off the bottom if they exceed a certain height.

Subscriber List
You have the ability to activate a subscription option, which allows visitors to opt-in for your email marketing. If you have this option turned on, visitors to your site can add themselves to your subscriber list.
If you already have an email list and want to upload it, there's also an option for uploading that list file.
|
|
HTML Newsletters
If you activate the "subscribe" feature of your site, you'll be able to collect email addresses from people who are interested in hearing from you via email. You can also add email addresses to your subscriber list yourself.
When you're ready to send out a message to your subscribers, you don't need to know anything about HTML to create really nice looking newsletters, with images, links and nicely formatted information. Each excellent newsletter you send out comes with a way for your subscribers to get off the list if they think it was a bad idea to subscribe.
No reason to pay for expensive third-party software to send out your news via email. This thing takes care of it for you at no extra charge.

|
Private Document Exchange
Sometimes, files are just too darn big to send via email. This web system solves the problem.
All you have to do is upload the big file, or files to your site. After that, you assign clients to it. Each client has a user name and password that they will use to log in to your site, and see the document or documents waiting there for them.
Works in reverse too. After logging in, the client can upload documents back to you.
No reason to pay for expensive third-party sites to store your big files. This thing does it for you at no extra change.

Email Addresses
At a certain point, sending out email to people from a Yahoo address or some other web service looks unprofessional. You want that email to come from you@yourdomain.com
Each site we host comes with unlimited email addresses, that resolve back to your domain. You can manage these through your own postmaster account, and you can also use either a desktop application such as Outlook for Windows or the standard Apple mail application for Macs to get and send your mail.

Yeah. How Much??
It's $400.00 (US Pesos), for the one-time set-up fee.
Then, it's $20.00 monthly for the hosting, which you pay for online.
Why isn't it free? Because it actually costs money to run web servers and to eat lunch.

What needs to happen to get one...
Get a domain name registered
Having a website is a two-part thing. One is that you need to buy a domain name (yoursitename.com). We strongly recommend Network Solutions for this purchase. When you purhase the domain name, don't buy ANY extras. They will try and sell you all sorts of things. Skip all that and just get to the end where you purchase the actual name of your domain.
You'll be creating an account with Network Solutions, so make sure you have that user name and password somewhere safe and reliable.
Two is the actual hosting of the site. We do the hosting thing for you right here. After you have purchased an excellent domain name for yourself, you will do a simple trick to edit the DNS. We'll send you all the details for this business, but it's dead easy so don't worry about it.
If you already own a domain name
That's cool. If you want to move over to a new way of managing your existing site, the process of transferring the domain over here is pretty darn easy to do and there's plenty of high-tech English speaking help available here to make that happen.
Contact Bug Logic - ask for hosting
Tell us what the domain name is that you have registered. We'll then set you up with a development area for you to play around with. If you like it, great! If not, no harm done.
